Preparations for the Open Beta

Hello Adventurers,

Our OBT is very close, only 3 days left! It's time for us to get ready for this great moment.

The hiatus

Over the last 4 months, the Myth Team has dedicated itself to restructuring the entire game progression to be consistent with the player's power progression, thereby creating challenges and rewards that match the stage of the game.

Furthermore, we take this opportunity to bring Myth closer to what we envision, also considering user feedback from our last meeting. Expect a progression that is less rampant, but more dynamic and challenging.

The monsters have been adjusted since the beginning of progression, and this means that it is extremely important to invest in your equipment as soon as possible. Exploring all the content and mechanics in Myth takes some time, but we made sure to include relevant information within the game itself, so that discovering our world is enjoyable. We have also included quality of life tools so that everyone can have fun comfortably.

What we expect from the beta

The main goal of our Beta is to ensure that systems and mechanics are working as proposed. We want to fix any critical errors and any stability issues on our server. With this, we affirm that our goal does not include any kind of changes in mechanics, but rather adjustments of values (if identified as necessary by the team) for the overall balancing of the world.

This is the best time for players to connect with our world and discover what it has to offer. We want your feedback, and we will reward those who help us; but it's important, above all, to make it clear that only players who reach base level 85 with any character and send us feedback will be eligible for this reward. Reports about bugs or glitches may be rewarded separately.

General questions about the project.

Regionalization

Many players were confused during the hiatus period regarding the Myth Team's announcement about focusing on South America (and a possible game translation). On this matter, we want to clarify and make everyone aware of the team's final decisions.

The Myth of Yggdrasil is a Brazilian project that opens doors to the international community. Initially, the game's content will be entirely in English, but the team will continue to look for ways to translate the game into multiple languages.

The server will be located in North America (as before), proving to be the most stable region for global connections. We also have route accelerators, so that people from all regions can play using the best possible route.

A large portion of our community is Brazilian, and we understand that the prices of items offered at the Myth Store were not as accessible as we would like, therefore, in addition to localizing prices for Brazil, we also decided to reduce the price of many of the items available at the Myth Store.

And the Ygg Points, where are they?

Before the hiatus, some players made donations and seriously supported the project, and we are grateful for that. You allowed us to invest even more and mature the project. All investments made will be automatically sent back to the Ygg Points Bank of the global account, at the Official Launch.

During the Beta period, we will have a promotional event with Ygg Points bonuses for donations made. This promotion aims to raise funds for investment in marketing campaigns for the official launch. More details will be shared in the event announcement in the coming days.

Download and Account Creation

The download page will be made available after the final tests that are currently taking place, please pay attention to the announcements. The registration for new Game Accounts will be opened on August 2nd before the Beta starts.

And after the beta?

After the beta ends, all Game Accounts will be reset (WIPE), but the Global Accounts will continue to function normally.

Feedback forms for those reaching level 85 will be available, and the Myth Team will announce the official launch date.
